Ingredients

For Gluten Free Cake Batter:
SwissBake® Gluten-Free Cake Mix – 1000g
Fresh Eggs – 600g
Sunflower Oil – 350g
Butter – 200g
Cocoa Powder – 60g
Fresh Strawberries – for garnish

For Dark Chocolate Ganache:
Compound Dark Chocolate – 500g
Fresh Cream – 250g
Butter – 50g

Method

  • Make a chocolate ganache out of the ingredients mentioned and keep it aside.
  • Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, whisk continuously using a planetary mixer, mix at medium speed for 5 mins or until a uniform gluten-free pound cake batter is formed.
  • Take 5 - 6 pound cake mould, pour approx. 350 to 400g of the batter in each mould.
  • Bake at 180°C  for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Once the cake cools down, apply chocolate ganache on top
  • Cut into slices garnish it with fresh strawberries and serve it.
