How to make Red Velvet Jar Cake

Perfect Red Velvet Jar Cake prepared using SwissBake® Red Velvet Cake Mix
BAKE TEMP : 170°c
MIXING TIME : 6 mins
BAKE TIME : 25 - 30 mins
PREP TIME : 30 - 36 mins


Red Velvet Mix V13337 - 1000gms
Water - 425gms
Oil - 250gms
Whipped cream - 500gms
Cream cheese - 300gm


  • Place all the ingredients in a mixing bowl,using a whisk attachment mix the cake mix on slow speed for 1 minute.
  • Scrape the batter and again mix at medium speed for 2 mins, add oil while mixing at slow speed for 1 min, again mix at medium speed for 2 min.
  • Pour the batter into the baking tray and bake at 170°c for 25 to 30mins.
  • First soften the cream cheese and fold in whipped cream and keep it in the fridge.
  • Once the sponge cools down,take a cookie cutter and cut the sponge in round shape.
  • Take a glass jar and place one sponge at the bottom of the jar, pour equal 60 to 70gms of cream, repeat the procedure twice.
  • Garnish it with red velvet crumbs.
