No, this product is cannot be prepared eggless and use of cake gel is not recommended as product will lose stability.

What is the shelf life of the muffins after baking ?

SwissBake® Crème Muffin mix – Orange does not have any preservatives or chemicals used to extend the shelf life of the mix or the baked products. If made and kept under hygienic conditions the muffin can be stored at room temperature (22ºC-27ºC) for upto 2 days. It can be wrapped and stored under refrigeration for 6-8 days.

Can I use butter instead of oil in my muffins ?

Yes, you can use melted unsalted butter in the same ratio as oil while making rich and moist Orange muffins using SwissBake® Crème Muffin Mix- Orange. Muffins made with butter have enhanced flavor profile and rich butter taste.

What other products can I make from this mix ?

SwissBake® Crème muffin mix – Orange can be used to make various types of Orange muffins (with additional berries, nuts or fillings) and rich and moist Orange Tea time cake.

What will happen if I bake it above 180ºc or 200ºc? Will it save my timing or bake it quickly?

No, baking cake at higher temperatures above suggested temperature will lead darker and hard muffin from outside and under baked from inside. It won’t save your time, please follow instructions on the packaging for right temperature and time

Is there any artificial color or flavour added in the mix?

No, we at swissbake use natural colours and do not promote artificial flavours and our Crème Muffin mix – Orange using orange oil and natural colour.

“My muffin has dome shape from above and looks dark in colour from outer surface”

Higher temperatures can cause dark coloration on surface and dome shape on top. Kindly check and confirm your actual baking temperature inside the oven.

“My muffin has big holes in baked product”

Make sure to scrape all sides in mixing container while mixing cake mix. Improper mixing can lead to open texture in baked products

What to do if my muffin shows less rise in my baked product?

Make sure to preheat at least minimum 15 minutes before baking product as it helps to maintain balance on temperature and pour muffin batter evenly in muffin moulds.

How do I store my Orange muffins for longer consumption and shelf life?

As this product has no artificial preservatives in its mix. We suggest consuming the product within 5 to 7 days while storing in cold temperature at 4ºC.

What to do if my muffin is dry in texture?

Make sure to check internal oven temperature despite oven display showing actual temperature needed. As internal temperature may vary from display temperature. Proper maintenance of oven is the key to maintain its temperature consistent
